The Canada-China Economic & Cultural Centre was established in 1994. It is a branch organization of the Canada Congress International Co.Ltd., and an enthusiastic participant in international exchanges and cooperation between people from all across Canada and China. The center has branch offices in Toronto, Beijing and Hong Kong. The center established cooperative relations with the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs and the China Association for International Exchange of Personnel in 1997. It was approved by the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs in the first batch of organizations certified as an overseas training channel (channel number: 990105).

     This organization also has intimate connections to a variety of Chinese government departments and social organizations.
